Symphony Natura Op. 170 was initially performed by Henning Christiansen as an eight-hour-long audio sequences in Rome's zoo in 1985 on eight loudspeakers in collaboration with Lorenzo Mammi.
This recording of Symphony Natura Op. 170 was originally released as part of the "Fluxus Anthology 30th Anniversary 1962-1992 Sound Events" a cassette box set with eight C90 cassette tapes, released on Slowscan in 1982 and re-realesed as an individual vinyl album on the same label in 2006.
