御存知、セルゲイ・エイゼンシュテイン監督による1925年の作品『戦艦ポチョムキン』。
「第1次ロシア革命20周年記念」として製作された世界一有名なプロパガンダ映画。字幕をすべて日本語に差し替えました。
オリジナルを崩す形の編集ですが、モンタージュとは本来、このように視覚的な直観によって刺激されるものと考え、蛇足ながらの作業をしてみました。
巷に出回っている「ロシア語字幕版に無理やり日本語スーパーを入れたバージョン」より、登場人物たちの感情が汲み取りやすいのではないかと思います。
逆にロシア語ならではの言葉の意味が、日本語によってかき消されてしまっているのも事実であります。
賛否はあるかと思いますが、ラストのテロップは確信犯であります。。。
