The Engadin Art Talks were initiated in 2010 by the publisher and collector Cristina Bechtler from Zurich. It is her aim to create a temporary site for a dialogue on art in keeping with the history of Engadin as a place congenial to concentrated thinking and lively conversation. Artistic directors are the renowned curators Hans Ulrich Obrist, Co-Director of International Projects at the Serpentine Gallery in London, and Beatrix Ruf, Director of the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.
