In this half-day symposium, scholars presented on topics that cover the range of James Turrell's work including the nature of perception, conditions of site-specificity, and the philosophy of aesthetics. Individual presentations by Thomas Crow, Miwon Kwon, and Mark Taylor were followed with a conversation moderated by Nat Trotman, Associate Curator, Guggenheim Museum.
