Los Angeles-based urban and media historian, critic, and novelist Norman Klein is the author of The History of Forgetting: Los Angeles and the Erasure of Memory; Seven Minutes: The Life and Death of the American Animated Cartoon; and The Imaginary 20th Century, among others. Klein, through his own lens on the blurring of fact and fiction, discusses his work in the context of Adrián Villar Rojas’s site-specific exhibition The Theater of Disappearance.
