◇ Jan Hoet (1936-2014) - S.M.A.K
Jan Hoet, the founding director of our museum, died on Thursday 27 February 2014. We, the whole team at S.M.A.K., would like to express our sincere condolences at the loss of this strong, warm and energetic man, with whom many among us have worked for long periods and without whom Ghent would probably never have had a museum of contemporary art.
