How in the world did we concoct a way to send this delicious cake, based on the iconic Composition in Red, Yellow & Blue, 1935-42 in the mail? It wasn't easy. We'll spare you the gooey (buttery, mouth-watering) details, but suffice it to say that it took quite a bit of elbow grease, dry ice, and sweet-talking with the postal authorities. Made with a rich 70% Valrhona Guanaja, these cakes are a 7 in. by x 3 in. x 3 in. take on the iconic dessert we debuted at our SFMOMA Rooftop Garden cafe back in 2009. Note that we only ship Monday through Thursday, and orders received after noon on Wednesday or after will ship the following week. Our fearless pastry gals can only crank out 12 of these per day, so if you see a "sold out" message, don't be shy about checking back in with us the next day.
